Double Layer Blood Coagulation Tube

1. PP inner wall of this tube prevents reagent from permeating through the wall, guaranteeing the accuracy of reagent in tube.

2. PET exterior wall prevents the air from permeating into the tube to keep the accuracy of vacuum.

By dual obstructing of double-layer tube, vacuum and reagent preset are preserved accurately in the tube, thus accuracy of blood coagulation test can be achieved.

Liquid surface in the tube can be raised a little to facilitate blood collection by equipment. This tube is compatible with different blood coagulation equipment.

Elimination of Dead Space decreases pre-test error, thus specimen test quality and clinical test risk is reduces obviously.

Usually 1.8ml or 2.7ml Sodium Citrate tube is used for blood collection test. The space inside the tube that is not be filled with blood after blood collection is called Dead Space.

Possible risks caused by Dead Space during blood coagulation test 

To the patient treated with macromolecular heparin, his APTT time may pseudo-shorten if Dead Space exists in the tube collected with his blood specimen. Thus doctor may increase the application of heparin, which can bring risk of treatment with heparin.........
