    *Tube with light blue cap, called Sodium Citrate Tube or PT Tube, with additive of 0.109mol/L Sodium Citrate   0.129mol/L
Sodium Citrate(1:9). used for the test of blood coagulation mechanism. It is filled with buffered tri-sodium citrate solution, and citrate concentrations of either 0.109mol/l (3.2%) or 0.129mol/l (3.8%) are available. The choice of the concentration depends upon the policies of the laboratories.

    *Usage for Plasma separation tube
The internal wall of plasma separation evacuated blood collection tube is specially treated to ensure the quality of plasma. The anticoagulants added to the tube, such as sodium citrate, EDTA-K2(K3), heparin sodium (lithium), etc, are determined by the requirements of plasma test. The physicochemical property of anticoagulant complies with the Pharmacopeia of China. To ensure the stability of serum composition and the one-tube operation during the whole test process and serum storage, serum separation gel can be added to the tube. The plasma separation tube shall be slightly overturned and mixed for 5-8 times immediately after collection to ensure adequate anticoagulation.
