    *Tube with light blue cap, called Sodium Citrate Tube or PT Tube, with additive of 0.109mol/L Sodium Citrate   0.129mol/L
SodiumCitrate(1:9). used for the test of blood coagulation mechanism. It isfilled with buffered tri-sodium citrate solution, and citrateconcentrations of either 0.109mol/l (3.2%) or 0.129mol/l (3.8%) areavailable. The choice of the concentration depends upon the policies ofthe laboratories.

    *Usage for Plasma separation tube
Theinternal wall of plasma separation evacuated blood collection tube isspecially treated to ensure the quality of plasma. The anticoagulantsadded to the tube, such as sodium citrate, EDTA-K2(K3), heparin sodium(lithium), etc, are determined by the requirements of plasma test. Thephysicochemical property of anticoagulant complies with thePharmacopeia of China. To ensure the stability of serum composition andthe one-tube operation during the whole test process and serumstorage, serum separation gel can be added to the tube. The plasmaseparation tube shall be slightly overturned and mixed for 5-8 timesimmediately after collection to ensure adequate anticoagulation.
